Sylvie Umuhoza, is the firstborn in a family of six children
Since she was young her dream was to be an engineer, but it wasn’t easy for her because I wasn’t easy to access to technology in urban areas
In her childhood , there was a myth that Engineering is for boys only so she has to face many challenges and discouraging situations
Finally she studied Computer Electronic and that was the beginning of her career and life goals as someone who uses technical skills to solve community problems
She studied Electronic and Telecommunication in University
After that, she got more opportunities like being a trainer in one of the college in Northern province, being one of the curricula Developer of WDA, and working as a sound operator in RBA( Rwanda Broadcast Agency) which was very interesting
currently working she works in Zipline International as a Flight Operator, where she uses engineering in operating drones, doing maintenance and Control them remotely
