The mission of the Miss Career Africa Scholarship Program is to create a movement of
over 250,000 African professional women in the next 100 years through ongoing and
transformational-locally organized training(s), career guidance and life skills
around: Access to the global education touch, advanced leadership, high end
corporate communication skills, Business perspectives and entrepreneurship,
Spiritual Growth and Mental health education.
A package they will feed
on a regular basis through workshops, cohorts, conferences, competitions like Miss
Career Africa, fellowships and Online courses that will be developed in the nearest
future. This program, In its lifetime, plans to provide minimum of 5000 scholarships
to the Africa’s next generation of female entrepreneurs who will shoulder the
African community challenges and responsibilities in the futures a head.
These female game-changers will be given scholarships for further
education abroad and in their regions across Africa where education is decent. This
program aims at transforming these Africa’s female beacons into grounded souls,
globally-educated young female leaders in Africa with the tenacity, sagacity and
seniority to run the next Africa’s biggest corporations, organizations, churches,
ministries, countries and more so, run their homes successfully and so, Gloom and
Nurture the next generations of Africa.
The Miss Career Scholars will be
challenged to take up leadership positions in their respective communities,
establish startup companies, run social programs, and run for political positions,
hold the keys to the power rooms and run the shows.
They are expected to
transform their communities and accelerate growth in their countries. The Miss
Career Africa Scholarship program selects the most gifted high school and university
students, drop outs and other youths with capacity to further their education to
become better leaders.
More so, If the girl is encouraged to run as one of the
Candidates of Miss Career Africa Contest. Another portion of these amazing young
female professionals are directly Recommended girls by their respective schools and
few others recommended by the local leaderships, and organizations, and Churches.
Their education results, extracurricular achievements, leadership traits and level
of their character and personal values determine their chance to win this most
competitive Africa’s scholarships exclusively for young women leaders in their
respective communities.
Those various items put together help them earn scholarships
to study abroad and in other various regional universities, and equips them to kick
start their careers back in their respective African communities.
Every couple of
years, Miss Career Africa Scholarship Program will be helping provide over 30
scholarships to most deserving- talented girls from the Miss Career Africa-Network
across continent. The organization through strategic education partners, Will work
hard to offer stupendous number of scholarships equivalent of over $5 million to top
notch list of universities abroad and in Africa.
For the first 12 months of the
program, Before the scholarship candidates are called #Scholars4Change and so, they
immerse themselves in Miss Career Africa’s rigorous Career Guidance cohort dubbed
#CareerSkiesProgram offered by All Trust Consult, Business Modeling Program offered
by Australian Partner organization dubbed Microlend Australian and leadership
courses all offered at the ATC's Entrepreneurship Incubation Center.
Scholars are
required to make a full-time commitment to the Career Guidance and Entrepreneurship
program without any guarantee they will be awarded a university scholarship.
In
addition, they sign a written commitment that if they are awarded an international
or regional scholarship they will return to work in their respective countries after
their university graduation. In addition to academic performance and English
language skills, the selection process considers leadership potential,
Entrepreneurial capabilities, people skills, spiritual depth/Character and the
student’s desire to make a difference in her country.
The Winners of the Scholarship
are called #ScholarsOnMission. Those who fail to win scholarships in the end, They
have access to Miss Career Fund which finances the most profitable business
modelling(s)/ projects so as to enable start their own businesses as they try other
possibilities of scholarshiping themselves in their local countries from their business
earnings.
